Leor Miller is a photographer, writer, and musician from Evanston, IL currently based in New Haven, CT.  She received a BA in Photography from Bard College (2019) and is a current MFA candidate at the Yale School of Art (2025). Leor's photographs approach the world as a space of mystery. She is interested in dreams and hallucinations, knowledge production, encounters with the unknowable and uncontrollable forces of the earth, the simultaneous power and fragility of the human body, and theories about the origin of the world. Her work uses a variety of image technologies and installation techniques in order to ask questions about the photograph’s ability to represent reality, the materiality of images, and how we experience images from a bodily perspective. She is a transgender woman.
