My creative practice explores the intersections of traditional Chinese mysticism, typography, and storytelling, constructing immersive worlds that blur the boundaries between reality and fiction. Drawing from Buddhist philosophies, Daoist Feng Shui practices, and esoteric traditions, I investigate the cultural and symbolic systems that shape human understanding. At the same time, my engagement with hip-hop culture and graffiti has deepened my interest in the power of language as both a visual art form and a medium of communication.
Focusing on typography, character design, and world-building, my work reimagines ancient knowledge systems and contemporary narratives. Projects like 2 vs.ALL and THE GEOMANIST CLUB OF THE UNIVERSE reinterpret traditional Chinese cosmology and mythology through speculative storytelling. ARTIFICIAL questions the boundaries between organic and artificial life, while TAGS examines the relationship between street art and typography across different cultural and political contexts.
Through these explorations, I aim to create spaces where tradition and modernity, mythology and technology, art and design converge. My practice invites viewers to engage with the stories, symbols, and systems that define our shared reality, encouraging reflection on the narratives we inherit and those we create.
