A cascade of silver and earth pools across surfaces, where golden rivers coil into tidal embraces, their forms half-seen-part apparition, part insistence. My work operates as testimony: a fractured yet whole world where Blackness is both altar and portal, a space for what was and what will always be. Painting becomes ritual, its layers of pigment breathing with spirits neither past nor passing, but present and enduring. My practice bridges painting, printmaking, moving image, and performance to explore the nexus of pre-colonial spirituality and contemporary expressions of Black personhood and futurities.

At its core, my practice is rooted in painting - this material inquiry unfolds alongside an investigation of painting's history and visual cultures. I weave printmaking and video into my work to foster chains of signification that translate intangible feelings of self and Blackness into expanding, experiential forms.
